FOSTERING A SENSE OF SECURITY IN VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES
Had our initial meeting with officials from Bgy. Tumana, Marikina City, for our new DRR program, which we are calling Kasama (companion) Emergency Bag Drive.
Bgy. Tumana, a barangay with high flood risk, is one of the first adopters of Project NOAH, which allows for the community to prepare for natural calamities.
Quarkus looks forward to its partnership with Bgy. Tumana, as we seek to provide its most vulnerable households with emergency go bags. We have committed to donate 50 Kasama Emergency Go Bags, with basic emergency supplies, for our first round.
We also look forward to a collaboration with them, as we launch a training and livelihood program for the community's PWDs.
We hope you could join us in efforts to restore a sense of security to our most vulnerable communities by joining our Kasama Emergency Go Bag Campaign.
